What data do we collect?
When you log in through Google, we collect:
- Your email address
- Your display name
- Your profile photo
We use a third-party service called Stripe to handle payments. When you make a payment through Stripe, the following data is collected:
- Your email address
- Your name and address
- Your payment method

We also use Google Analytics to collect anonymous data about how the website is used so that we can improve it. No personal information is included in this analytics data. More information on how Google Analytics uses data
How is your data collected?
We collect your data when you sign in, and when you make a payment. When you click on buttons and view different parts of the website, we collect anonymous data to track those interactions.
How will your data be used?
Your profile information (email address, display name and profile photo) are used to log in. In addition, when you send a message in the chat, your name and profile photo are shown on the message to identify you. However, only people who are logged in will be able to see the chat, and when a room is created there is an option for it to require an invite to view (invite-only). Payment information is used only to process your payment, and is processed by Stripe.
How is your data stored?
Your profile information (email address, display name and profile photo) are managed by Google. When you send a message in the chat, your display name and profile photo will also be stored in cloud servers in the USA, and will only be accessible:
- If the room you join is not invite-only, it will be accessible to people who are signed in
- If the room you join is invite-only, it will only be accessible to people who are invited to join
Marketing
Your data is not used for marketing purposes.

- Right to access: you have the right to request that we provide you with your personal information that we have
- Right to rectification: you have the right to request that we correct any of your personal information that we have
- Right to erasure (or 'right to be forgotten'): you have the right to request that we erase any of your personal information. You can delete your profile at any time on the profile page. If you have made a payment to us, you can send an email to the address above to have your information deleted.
- Right to restrict processing: you have the right to request that we restrict the processing of your personal data.
- Right to object: you have the right to object to your personal information being processed.
- Right to data portability: you have the right to request that we transfer your personal information to another organisation

What are they?
Websites can store a 'cookie', which is a piece of plain text, on your computer and is accessible to that website.
How do we use them?
We use Google Analytics, which uses cookies to identify users, to understand how our website is used and improve it.
